What we keep & why
This is a plain-language list of the categories of information IdentityOS stores about you, and why each one exists. Nothing here is sold, and none of it is used to build an advertising profile — see how your conversations are handled for the fuller picture of who can see what.
Your account
Your email, so you can sign in and so the account is actually yours. Sign-in runs through Supabase Auth — a magic link by default, with an optional password if you set one. Either way, there’s no separate account database: it’s the same Supabase Auth record, and any password you set is stored and checked by Supabase itself, never by IdentityOS application code.
What you tell us about yourself
Your name (optional), age, gender (optional), profession, what you’re working through right now, and who you want to become. This exists so your reflection and rehearsals are actually built around you, not a generic template — a few fields, not an exhaustive assessment.
The statements you select
Which of the pre-written statements you recognize as true of yourself. This is the raw evidence your current-character reflection is built from — you’re choosing from a fixed set, not writing your own statements here.
Your reflection and character material
The pattern IdentityOS proposes back to you from what you selected, and — once you’ve chosen one — the identity you go on to practice being. This exists because it’s the actual product: a reflection you can recognize or correct, and a character you can rehearse with.
Rehearsal conversations
The full back-and-forth when you practice a situation with your chosen character. This is kept so a rehearsal can respond to what you actually said, and so a later session can pick up the thread instead of starting from nothing.
Real-world reports
If you tell IdentityOS how a real situation actually went, that report is kept so it can reflect it back to you and, where relevant, inform later rehearsals.
Basic usage information
Which milestones you’ve reached and roughly when (e.g. that you completed onboarding), never the content of what you wrote or said. This exists to understand and improve the product, not to profile you.
What we don’t collect
No payment or card details — there is currently no live payment system. No browsing history from outside this site, no ad-network identifiers, no device fingerprinting.
For who can actually see this information — other members, IdentityOS, and the services IdentityOS runs on — see how your conversations are handled. You can permanently delete your account and everything above at any time from your account page.
